In the role of Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to meet both business and technical requirements. This position demands a hands-on approach, allowing you to guide development teams while actively engaging in technical design and solution reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Salesforce architecture encompassing Sales, Service, and industry-specific clouds.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and establish integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards including scalability and security.
- Provide guidance and oversight during design reviews and code quality evaluations.
- Define API standards and data models for an architected approach.
- Participate in pre-sales activities including solution design and effort estimation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as ERDs and architecture blueprints.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce architectures.
- Comfortable working directly with clients to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in mentoring development teams and conducting design reviews.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, security models, and deployment architecture.
- Experienced in various integration approaches including RESTful APIs and middleware.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of consulting experience focusing on Salesforce architecture.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with Data Cloud, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud is preferred.
- Strong system documentation capabilities (ERDs, process flows, etc.).
- Required certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and one or more Salesforce Architect domain certifications (e.g. Application Architect, System Architect).
- Agile project methodology experience including estimation and planning.
