Salesforce/NetSuite Engineering Manager, Commercial Systems

The company is a leading provider of open-source software and operating systems for global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, and engineering innovation. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of an internal product within the Commercial Systems unit. This unit consists of six engineering teams that collaborate closely with other engineering and business teams at the company. The Business Systems team handles systems like NetSuite and Salesforce, ensuring compliance and implementing business processes to enhance employee functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountability for the design and development of an internal product
• Leading a team of software engineers
• Developing the skills and capabilities of direct reports
• Seeking improvements to established processes and solutions
• Building a strong understanding of business needs to maximize impact

What We Are Looking For:

• Exceptional academic track record and an undergraduate degree in a technical subject
• Experience in software development in Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP systems
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• Result-oriented with a strong personal drive to meet commitments
• Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
