Sample Prep Technician

About the Role
Join our laboratory team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Sample Preparation Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing laboratory samples following established procedures. Your work will ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of samples with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sample preparation activities in accordance with laboratory procedures.
• Operate sample preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure prepared samples are representative of the original material and meet quality requirements.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Follow laboratory quality control procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, and non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Support daily laboratory operations to meet sample processing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in sample preparation or a similar laboratory role.
• Knowledge of laboratory sample preparation procedures.
• Ability to operate sample preparation equipment.
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety and quality control practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
