Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP ABAP development projects, including designing, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop complex reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows using ABAP.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to ABAP programs and custom developments.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, standards, and documentation.
- Participate in architecture design discussions and contribute to technical strategy.
- Support SAP upgrades, patches, and integration efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of proven experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA preferred.
- Expertise in ABAP Objects, ALV reports, SAP enhancements (BADI, User Exits), SAP interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC), and Forms (SmartForms, SAPscript).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and overall SAP architecture.
- Experience with performance tuning and system optimization.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, UI5, Gateway, and OData services is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP Development are a plus.
