SAP ABAP Consultant

About the Role
This position involves the design, development, testing, debugging, delivery, and support of SAP S4 HANA ABAP solutions. The role will require a deep understanding of SAP ABAP along with hands-on experience in managing the complete lifecycle of SAP projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug SAP S4 HANA ABAP solutions.
• Deliver and provide ongoing support for developed solutions.
• Participate in three full SAP project life cycles of significant size, scope, and complexity.
• Utilize performance tuning techniques for improved application efficiency.
• Work closely with various communication and messaging technologies.
• Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, and design business solutions under tight deadlines.
• Engage in ABAP development including WebDynPro, BSP, ALE-IDocs, Bdocs, BAPI’s, BDC, Adobe Forms, RFC’s, LSMW, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and SAP Console.
• Conduct workflow design and support, including SPAU / SPDD activities during system upgrades.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

• A degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASAP methodology and working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Minimum Experience:

• At least seven (7) years of experience in SAP S4 HANA ABAP solution development, including participation in three full SAP project life cycles.
• Relevant industry experience in Retail, Automotive, Real Estate, or Trading is highly regarded.
