Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all SAP ABAP development and enhancement activities.
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and ABAP programs.
- Oversee custom development for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Guide team members on clean code principles, modularization, and object-oriented ABAP.
- Manage integration developments using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData, and Web Services.
- Coordinate with SAP BASIS and transport teams for code migration and release planning.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with functional teams to resolve development-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and audit controls.
- Maintain development documentation, testing protocols, and support procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP for SAP NetWeaver or S/4HANA.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience:
- 8–12 years of SAP ABAP experience, including at least 2 years in an expert or lead developer role.
- Hands-on development experience in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Experience working across multiple functional modules (FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.).
- Exposure to SAP upgrade, data migration, and SAP Fiori integration projects.
- At least 5 years of experience in the banking sector.

Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expertise in Classical & Object-Oriented ABAP, Reports (Classical, ALV), Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots).
- Proficient in IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and OData Services.
- Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAPScripts.
- Knowledge of Data Dictionary, Modular Function Groups, Classes, Interfaces.
- Familiarity with performance tuning tools (ST05, SAT, SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis).
- Understanding of version control practices, transport tracking, and change request management.
