As an SAP ABAP Manager at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing end-to-end SAP ABAP solutions across various modules including SD, MM, FI/CO, HCM, PP, and PM. Your key responsibilities will include translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs, leading the development of RICEF objects, enhancements, and custom applications, integrating SAP with external systems utilizing IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services, driving performance tuning and code optimization while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices, and supporting SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization initiatives.

In addition to technical architecture, you will also lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing them with guidance and career development support. You will allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. Conducting code reviews, enforcing development standards, and ensuring documentation compliance will be key parts of your role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 14+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and architecture.
- Strong command of classical and object-oriented ABAP, ALV, BADI, BAPI, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Web Dynpro.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and OData services is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership experience managing SAP development teams.
- Deep understanding of SAP modules and cross-functional integration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments is a plus.
- SAP certifications in ABAP or Solution Architecture are an advantage.

Proficiency in English is generally expected; any additional languages may be beneficial.
