The ideal candidate should be well-versed in SAP BO components such as Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, and IDT/UDT, along with their integration with SAP BW, ECC, and S/4HANA. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to transform reporting requirements into functional BI assets while ensuring high performance, data accuracy, and usability. The candidate will also lead BI teams, enforce governance, and support the long-term analytics strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead BI/BO project delivery, including architecture, development, and deployment.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into report and dashboard specifications.
- Develop and maintain universes (IDT/UDT) and reporting metadata models.
- Create and optimize reports using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all BI outputs.
- Integrate BI tools with SAP BW, ECC, and HANA-based systems.
- Implement scheduling, bursting, and automated report delivery via BI Launchpad.
- Manage role-based access and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Support version upgrades, patches, and platform optimization.
- Provide training and documentation to business users and technical teams.

Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BusinessObjects preferred.
- Certification in SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:
- 5–12 years of experience in SAP BI/BO development and delivery.
- At least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Proven experience in large-scale SAP reporting environments.
- Strong background in integrating BO with BW, ECC, and HANA sources.
- Experience in performance tuning and dashboard optimization.
