Candidates will be responsible for data handling tasks, which include writing and optimizing SQL queries as well as managing data connections. They will also develop and maintain Universes (IDT/UDT), perform unit and system testing, troubleshoot reporting issues, and monitor system performance to resolve complex technical issues. The role requires ongoing support to ensure system stability, along with maintaining clear and accessible technical documentation for knowledge sharing. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is crucial, ensuring that technical concepts are translated into actionable outcomes.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in BO Crystal report development.
- Expert-level mastery of Crystal Reports versions 2013/2016/2020, including version upgrades and cross-platform integration.
- Experience with Business Objects Enterprise (BI Launchpad), Web Intelligence (WebI), and ETL tools.
- Deep proficiency in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA).
- Extensive experience with Information Design Tool (IDT), Central Management Console (CMC), and Web Intelligence (WebI).
- Expertise in dimensional modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
- Competence in user rights management, scheduling, and server monitoring within CMC.
Previous Experience:
Experience in the banking sector, specifically within IT, focusing on digital channels platform support.
