This hybrid role for a Technical Lead requires five to eight years of experience delivering robust enterprise solutions using generative artificial intelligence middleware platforms and customer-centric applications. The role focuses on designing and implementing custom integrations, user experience enhancements, and scalable data services to support global information technology business operations during the day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an SAP C4C Consultant who combines strong SDK (Cloud Applications Studio / PDI) development skills with solid functional expertise in Sales and Service processes. The role involves designing, building, and supporting C4C solutions end-to-end — from requirement gathering and process design through custom development, integration, and post-go-live support — in a landscape integrated with SAP S/4HANA and frontend systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Gather business requirements and translate them into C4C functional designs and technical specifications.
• Configure C4C functional areas: business roles and access restrictions, organization structure (sales org, distribution channel, division, sales office), involved parties, workflows, approval processes, surveys, and KPI/reporting.
• Develop custom solutions using SAP Cloud Applications Studio (SDK/PDI): custom business objects, extension fields, embedded components, BO actions/validations, mass data runs, and web services.
• Build and enhance validations and business logic (e.g., duplicate checks on key fields, mandatory-field and save-time validations) using ABSL scripting and events.
• Design and support integrations between C4C and SAP S/4HANA via SAP Integration Suite (CPI), including OData APIs, ID mapping, and employee/customer master replication.
• Troubleshoot data replication and synchronization issues (e.g., ID mapping gaps, master data inconsistencies between C4C and ERP) and drive them to resolution.
• Support data migration activities: migration templates, data loads, validation, and post-migration reconciliation.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, conduct unit/integration testing, and support UAT and cutover activities.
• Provide post-go-live (AMS) support including incident analysis, root-cause identification, and deployment of corrective code/data fixes.
• Collaborate with integration, basis, and frontend application teams on cross-system changes.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on SAP C4C experience covering both SDK development and functional configuration.
• Strong SDK expertise: SAP Cloud Applications Studio (PDI), ABSL, BODL, custom BOs, extension fields, embedded components, OData service creation and lifecycle management (patch/assemble/deploy).
• Solid functional knowledge of C4C Sales (accounts/contacts, leads, opportunities, activities, visits) and/or Service (tickets, SLAs, categorization).
• Experience with C4C master data: business partners, employees, org management, and ID mapping with ERP/S/4HANA.
• Integration experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite and standard C4C–ERP/S4 pre-packaged content; comfortable with OData/SOAP APIs and message monitoring.
• Experience resolving replication/synchronization defects between C4C and SAP ERP or S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work directly with business users and translate needs into solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Sales/Service Cloud V2 or migration from C4C to V2.
• SAP certification in C4C / Sales Cloud or SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
• Experience in industry-specific sales processes (e.g., automotive/retail/financial services).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design and implementation of enterprise solutions that integrate generative artificial intelligence middleware and customer-facing applications to improve operational efficiency and user experience across business units.
• Oversee configuration and optimization of middleware platforms such as SAP CPI and PI to enable secure, reliable, and high-performing integration between sales and service processes, data sources, reports, and external applications.
• Provide detailed technical ownership for design and development of custom integrations that connect sales flows, services workflows, user interfaces, and backend systems ensuring data consistency and process traceability across the organization.
• Drive creation, enhancement, and maintenance of intuitive user interfaces and Ruby scripting components that streamline daily workflows, reduce manual tasks, and deliver a consistent experience for internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Execute development and optimization of ABSL scripting logic to implement complex business rules, validations, and automated actions that align with enterprise standards and support long-term maintainability of solutions.
• Manage design and lifecycle of custom objects and extensions to capture critical business data, build reusable components, and support evolving requirements in sales, service, and reporting domains with a strong focus on scalability.
• Coordinate delivery of robust Odata-based services that expose well-structured, secure, and performant data endpoints enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and seamless consumption by digital channels and partner systems.
• Guide refinement of sales and services processes and flows by translating functional requirements into precise technical solutions that improve cycle time, accuracy, and transparency for business and information technology teams.
• Ensure reliable integration of diverse data sources and reports by defining data models, mapping strategies, and validation routines that support trustworthy insights and informed decision-making across the enterprise.
• Collaborate closely with information technology, business support, and user experience teams to capture pain points, prototype solutions, and implement enhancements that increase adoption, satisfaction, and productivity.
• Conduct rigorous technical reviews, testing, and performance tuning for all integrations, scripts, and extensions to minimize incidents, simplify support, and align with organizational standards for quality and resilience.
• Provide structured documentation, knowledge transfer, and guidance to project teams and support functions so solutions are easily understood, operated, and evolved without disruption to day shift hybrid work patterns.
• Monitor production usage metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, applying generative artificial intelligence capabilities and integration best practices to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong practical experience in generative artificial intelligence use cases and patterns with the ability to design solutions that augment user workflows, automate routine tasks, and respect organizational governance.
• Bring deep hands-on expertise in middleware platforms including SAP CPI and PI with proven capability to design, build, and troubleshoot complex integration scenarios across sales and service landscapes.
• Show advanced proficiency in user interface development, Ruby scripting, and related tooling to craft usable, accessible, and efficient front-end solutions that align with modern experience principles.
• Possess solid experience with ABSL scripting, custom objects and extensions, and Odata service design to deliver flexible, modular, and future-ready applications for enterprise environments.
• Apply comprehensive understanding of sales processes, services flows, data sources, and reporting structures to translate domain requirements into robust and maintainable technical implementations.
• Exhibit a strong background in user experience and information technology business support ensuring that technical decisions are guided by stakeholder needs, operational constraints, and long-term supportability.
