SAP FICO Consultant

Synechron is seeking an experienced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant with a minimum of 10 years of experience to support, implement, and optimize SAP FICO modules. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and aiding business finance functions through SAP ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP FICO (FI and CO) modules to meet finance and controlling requirements.
• Manage financial data, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and cost controlling.
• Facilitate financial reporting, audit support, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to streamline financial processes and improve system efficiency.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and provide user training and support.
• Maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Assist in SAP FICO integrations with other modules and external systems.
• Stay updated on SAP FICO enhancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes to recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) working with SAP FICO modules.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and related business processes.
• SAP certification in FICO is preferred.
• Proficient in SAP configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, support, or consulting.
