As an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will conduct a thorough assessment of our current SAP FI/CO configuration and business workflows. Your responsibilities will include:

Process Review and Benchmarking: Analyzing the current SAP FI/CO configuration, including customizations and integration workflows. Evaluating core financial processes such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and assessing integration points with upstream and downstream systems.

Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting Alignment: Reviewing the current financial reporting framework for compliance with applicable standards such as IFRS and local GAAP. Identifying opportunities to streamline statutory and internal reporting using SAP-native tools.

Stakeholder Engagement and Needs Assessment: Conducting discovery sessions with Finance, Operations, and Trading teams to identify pain points. Facilitating workshops to explore digital transformation opportunities, including automation and advanced analytics.

Strategic Recommendations and Roadmap Development: Developing actionable recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements. Proposing SAP-native or complementary solutions such as S/4HANA Finance or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Preparing comprehensive documentation of findings and proposed changes. Supporting internal teams through knowledge-sharing sessions.
Must Have:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FI/CO architecture and solution design.
- Demonstrated success in the oil & gas and energy trading sectors.
- Strong expertise in IFRS and/or local GAAP.
- Proven experience in digital finance transformation, including automation and analytics.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
Language Requirements: English proficiency is required.
