We are seeking a highly experienced Business Function Implementation Lead to join the Consulting team and support the ERP Transformation project. This role is pivotal in planning and leading the implementation of business processes for a specific function, ensuring alignment with business goals through end-to-end performance improvement. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise in SAP for Retail Finance & Controlling (FICO), strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in business process implementation and ERP transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of activities related to a specific business function within the ERP program.
- Conduct business process analysis, design/re-design, and support organization structure definition to ensure functional alignment.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP FICO with deep knowledge of Retail Finance, S/4HANA Finance, and SAP FI Asset Accounting.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and secure alignment on key process decisions.
- Develop detailed project plans, identifying key milestones, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.
- Guide multiple teams and influence cross-functional decisions to solve complex business challenges.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders to enable successful adoption of new business processes.
- Foster collaboration and drive consistency in execution across business functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in SAP consulting with a strong focus on FICO module in retail environments.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
- Proficient in business process design and implementation for finance-related functions.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP FI (including Asset Accounting) and integration with other modules.
- Proven ability to lead functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive complex transformation programs.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
