Your Role:
As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a critical role in listening to client needs, understanding challenges with their existing solutions, and assisting in their migration to new systems. This position combines providing technical solutions with meeting and manipulating business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in business requirements workshops, conduct meetings, customize systems, and develop functional specifications.
- Interact with business stakeholders, conduct testing, train business users, manage master data, assist with go-lives, and support post-go-live activities.
- Independently manage accounts/projects, including implementations, transformations, or support engagements.
Primary Skills Required:
- 8-12 years of experience in SAP FI and CO modules.
- Minimum of 3 full SAP end-to-end implementations, with at least 2 in a lead role for SAP FICO.
- Knowledge of Record to Report Macro Process (R2R) and expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting.
- Experience in Product Costing, COPA, Profit Centre, Cost Centre Accounting, and Internal Order Management within controlling.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with LATAM legal and statutory localization requirements.
- Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance, and controlling.
- Experience in creating requirement specifications, conducting workshops, preparing blueprints and solution documents, and writing functional specifications.
- Knowledge of LSMW and migration tools.
- Ability to work with developers on reporting, ALE, EDI-Mapping, and interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Language Requirements:
- English proficiency is mandatory. Ability to communicate in the local language is preferred for interacting with local business users and teams in different countries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic to intermediate SAP technical experience, including debugging and familiarity with User-Exits/BADIs.
- Exposure to FSCM, SAP HANA, and additional SAP modules is an advantage.
- Additional domain experience will be beneficial.
