Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Application Operations Specialist with expertise in SAS technologies, including:
- SAS Data Integration (DI)
- SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)
- SAS Management Console (SMC)
- SAS Viya
Additionally, specialized knowledge in Fraud Management and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) is required. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of SAS applications, contributing to effective data management, regulatory compliance, and fraud detection initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support and Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain SAS DI, EG, SMC, Viya, and associated applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, coordinating with relevant teams as necessary.
Data Management:
- Oversee data integration processes, ensuring data quality and integrity across various systems.
- Implement and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SAS DI.
Fraud Management and AML:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Fraud Management and AML systems.
- Collaborate with business units to refine detection algorithms and reporting mechanisms.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance:
- Ensure SAS applications comply with internal and external governance and risk management standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to data management and compliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Generate regular reports on application performance, data integrity, and compliance metrics.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAS applications and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in application operations.
- Stay updated on the latest SAS technologies and industry trends to enhance operational capabilities.
