Satellite Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems.

• Provide support for installations, repairs, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience
• Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate experience with DSCS or Commercial Satellite Terminals
  • Experience with X, C, KA, Ku-band, Tri-band Satellite Terminals
  • Familiarity with FDMA, TDMA, IP Type satellite modems
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET
• Skills:
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks
• Location: On Customer Site
• US Citizenship Required: Yes

• Hourly Rate: The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.52 - $30.15, subject to experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Total compensation for international positions may include allowances, premium uplifts, and relocation or transportation benefits above the base salary range noted.
