Scientist, Systems Engineer (C4ISR Systems - ACE - Advanced Concept Engineer)

The company is seeking a Scientist, C4ISR Systems Solutions Architect for our Abu Dhabi, UAE location. This senior role involves the design of C4ISR systems, including network architecture, Battle Management Systems (BMS), and the processing, fusion, and dissemination of data from multiple ISR platforms. A primary focus is on the modernization and development of new C4ISR systems to support joint operations, which includes designing communications architecture, recommending data models, evaluating analysis tools, and developing interoperable systems that utilize open standards for data exchange.

This position requires close coordination with end users and other engineering disciplines to define requirements and work collaboratively with third-party vendors. The role also emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence in the C4ISR space to enhance system capabilities and strategies for customer adoption of modernized systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and designing C4ISR architectures that leverage existing customer equipment.
• Integrating AI within C4I systems to improve capabilities and data analysis.
• Managing the technical relationship with customers to ensure their requirements are met.
• Collaborating across various sectors to provide cohesive solutions.

Work Conditions:

• This is an expat position with a duration of 3 years.
• Requires 50% business travel across the Middle East.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (non-engineering or non-science majors will not be considered).
• At least 12 years of related experience (10+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in C4ISR systems design.

Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiar with the company's Falcon Radio products and military vehicle networks.
• Knowledge of interoperability, data fusion, and real-time processing challenges.
• Understanding of modern military operations, including design and application of AI in C4ISR systems.
