SCM Applications Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Solution Engineers leverage deep industry knowledge and specialist technology expertise to build trusted customer relationships and support the growth of an innovative solution pipeline. This role is pivotal in shaping solution strategies and winning complex transformation opportunities. It is based in the UAE and involves working with customers across the Middle East, requiring travel within the region. The position is hybrid, combining customer-facing engagement and collaboration with regional teams alongside office-based activities. The focus will be on Fusion Applications, including ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, and EPM.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Drive complex Supply Chain Management opportunities.
• Utilize Health & Life Sciences expertise to propose relevant, innovative solutions that meet customer objectives.
• Fully understand and address customers' key business requirements and motivations.
• Present and articulate the value of SaaS SCM solutions to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for the company by sharing current and emerging product capabilities in workshops, customer engagements, and Health & Life Sciences events.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of Fusion Healthcare & Life Sciences Applications within the Solution Engineering community.
• Partner with Sales teams throughout the sales cycle to articulate business value effectively.
• Proactively overcome obstacles to help customers attain their desired outcomes.
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge across SaaS SCM and into ERP/EPM, HCM, and CX.
• Stay updated with modern demonstration techniques and understand the competitive landscape to confidently address objections.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or a related role.
• Advanced expertise in Fusion Cloud SCM or comparable cloud solutions from other enterprise tech providers.
• Proven experience across the broader supply chain portfolio, including Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Inventory Management, Maintenance, and Logistics.
• Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain design and network optimization, from demand planning to logistics execution.
• Experience leading multi-pillar solutions across ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, and/or CX is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with AI capabilities in Fusion Applications or comparable embedded AI in other enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing enterprise architectures using Fusion Applications or similar enterprise cloud platforms.
• Proficient knowledge of sales methodologies and relevant processes and disciplines.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred experience:

• Experience supporting enterprise back-office transformation programs, ideally within Healthcare or Life Sciences.
• Knowledge of integrating Fusion SCM Applications or comparable applications with Healthcare EHR and/or Life Sciences solutions.
• Ability to leverage technology to foster innovation; experience with design thinking and customer journey mapping is preferred.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Industry-recognized certifications and affiliations with respected supply chain institutions or associations.

EXPECTATIONS

• 7 years of business experience with relevant computer applications or databases/tools.
• Ability to implement advanced product features and thorough knowledge of system and application design.

• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
• Capacity to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communications.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree highly desirable.
