SCMS and Cybersecurity Commissioning Engineer

The company is seeking an SCMS and Cybersecurity Commissioning Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure Customer Services Team. This role is integral to helping us reimagine the world by providing solutions that create a more innovative future. Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions:

• Full-time
• On-site
• Expected travel: approximately 75% of total time to job sites, customer offices, and vendor factories

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to clients related to SCMS products and systems.
• Support for sales, project management, and engineering efforts.
• Develop new application solutions utilizing communication protocols such as IEC61850, Modbus, and Profibus.
• Design, configure, conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and commission Cybersecurity for Substation Automation systems.
• Serve as a primary customer interface, offering troubleshooting and commissioning support.
• Develop and implement protection and control applications and schemes.
• Prepare and execute Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures.
• Conduct training on the SCMS system for customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of substation network topology design and protocol configurations.
• Experience with Cybersecurity in Operational Technology (OT) Systems, including configurations for firewalls and server systems.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols and parameterizing devices.

• Proficient in English.
