Scrum Master

About the Role:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating all aspects of the Scrum process within the team and the wider organisation. You will be responsible for coaching the team on Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and ensuring that they adhere to established practices to enhance productivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and the wider organisation on Scrum, Kanban, and agile principles.
• Identify and remove impediments that block the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, well-refined backlog and establish clear sprint goals.
• Track and communicate delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time; drive initiatives for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in software delivery, including hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled-agile frameworks.
• Experience with agile tooling, including Jira and Confluence.
• Scrum certification (e.g., PSM, CSM) is preferred.
