The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile frameworks, experience scaling complex digital products within a fast-paced startup or scale-up consumer platform environment, and familiarity navigating regulatory and compliance processes in financial software delivery. Additionally, you should possess prior exposure to API-driven architectures and technical delivery, alongside hands-on proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure clear prioritization and alignment of sprint goals.
- Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
- Ensure adherence to agile principles and best practices across teams.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Track and analyze sprint metrics (velocity, burn-downs, cycle time) to help teams improve efficiency and predictability.
- Guide teams in adopting agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and techniques that best fit fintech product cycles.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, security, and data teams to ensure agile delivery.
- Support multiple squads working on communications, AI, platform, customer service, and experience.
- Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in agile mindset and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent agile certification.
- 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments.
- Proven experience working in consumer platforms.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices.
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using delivery metrics to drive improvement.
