As a Scrum Master, you will guide the development team through the Scrum framework, manage sprints, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to align team efforts with project goals while monitoring and optimizing team performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach the team in agile principles and practices, driving the adoption of Scrum.
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Identify and eliminate impediments to progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with product owners to maintain a well-defined product backlog.
  • Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and iterative processes.
  • Track and report key metrics to stakeholders to measure team performance and progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on both team and project success.
  • Experience using agile project management tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and best practices.
