Scrum Master - Remote - 3 Months - Octopus by RTG

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Scrum Master to support Agile teams in delivering high-quality products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Scrum methodologies, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to foster continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach development teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and help remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog management and sprint planning.
• Monitor team performance using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration between development teams and stakeholders.
• Support teams in maintaining transparency, accountability, and continuous delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve Agile processes and team efficiency.
• Facilitate collaboration across distributed and remote teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile delivery, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting Agile teams.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
• Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support team collaboration in a remote environment.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
