Responsibilities

  • Monitor, assess, and improve the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate containment and remediation activities.
  • Manage and monitor security technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and incident-response plans.
  • Perform threat analysis and recommend appropriate security controls.
  • Coordinate penetration testing, security audits, and remediation tracking.
  • Prepare security reports, risk registers, and management-level presentations.
  • Support security awareness programmes and provide technical guidance to internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or information security.
  • Strong experience in security risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • In-depth knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, identity management, and data protection.
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
