In this position, you will interface with advanced SOC tools, collaborate with technical teams, and help improve detection logic and security processes. This role is ideal for a technically driven professional looking to develop expertise in security monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts generated across SIEM, EDR, VA, and SOAR platforms to identify potential threats.
  • Support incident response activities by gathering evidence, performing initial investigations, and documenting findings.
  • Assist in tuning SOC detection rules, correlation content, and security monitoring use cases.
  • Conduct routine health checks of security monitoring tools to ensure their proper functioning.
  • Prepare SOC reports summarizing alert trends, incident activity, and operational metrics.
  • Review vulnerability scan results and support remediation prioritization.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of SOC documentation, including runbooks and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams during security investigations.
  • Participate in security awareness initiatives to strengthen enterprise-wide cybersecurity practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a SOC or IT security role focused on monitoring, analysis, or incident response.
  • Understanding of SIEM technologies, EDR platforms, malware concepts, and network security fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience with vulnerability management or threat intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development in cybersecurity.
