Responsibilities:
- Follow operational processes to analyze, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical security incidents.
- Correlate and analyze events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Log Rhythm, QRadar) to detect IT security incidents.
- Conduct forensic analysis of log files and system resource access.
- Review customer reports for quality and accuracy.
- Monitor various security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and VPNs.
- Respond to technical assistance requests via phone and electronic means.
- Document actions in cases and maintain communication internally and with customers.
- Stay aware of the current threat landscape and participate in knowledge sharing.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in information security, including security operations, intrusion detection, and incident handling.
- Experience in network operations, system administration (Unix, Linux, Windows).
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, common attack types, and detection/prevention methods.
- Experience using SIEM tools and knowledge of networking and security products.
- Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, GCA, GCIA, GCIH, CEH are preferable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in English is required; Arabic is preferred.
