As a Sr. Security Architect for Digital Sovereignty, you will advise and deliver security and compliance outcomes across a wide range of strategic opportunities and challenging environments. Your responsibilities will include shaping the security and compliance strategy for digital sovereignty and designing technical architectures that help regulators and highly regulated customers navigate these requirements. You will play a key role in driving change, developing security strategies, and fostering relationships with customers, partners, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conversations on security, risk, and compliance with strategic AWS customers and partners facing sovereignty restrictions.
- Manage senior stakeholders within customer environments to align consensus and drive outcomes on the AWS platform.
- Assist customers in integrating and implementing AWS security controls into their own frameworks.
- Prioritize strategic customer outcomes to enhance business processes while ensuring compliance with sovereignty requirements.
- Act as a thought leader by developing industry-leading resources based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with the AWS compliance team to shape the strategic direction of various compliance programs.
- Influence roadmaps for AWS products and services based on customer feedback.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry personnel and decision-makers.
- Partner with AWS customers to facilitate their understanding of AWS security requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance domains.
