As a Sr. Security Architect for Digital Sovereignty, you will advise and deliver security and compliance outcomes across various strategic opportunities and challenging environments. Your role includes shaping the security and compliance strategy for digital sovereignty and designing technical architectures to assist regulators, public sector entities, and highly regulated customers in navigating digital sovereignty requirements. You will drive change with customers, partners, and regulators while developing security strategies and architectures to support innovative approaches and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead conversations on security, risk, and compliance with strategic AWS customers and partners facing sovereignty restrictions.
- Manage senior stakeholders within customer environments to achieve consensus and drive outcomes on the AWS platform.
- Assist customers with integrating and implementing AWS security controls into their frameworks.
- Prioritize customer outcomes that enhance their security posture while adhering to sovereignty requirements.
- Act as a thought leader, developing and launching industry-leading, customer-facing resources.
- Support the AWS compliance team in shaping the strategic direction of various AWS compliance programs.
- Influence AWS product and service roadmaps based on customer feedback.
- Cultivate relationships with key industry personnel, executives, and policymakers.
- Partner with AWS customers to facilitate an understanding of AWS security requirements.
- Keep the AWS Global Services leadership team informed of customer engagement status and activities.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities.
- Background in the regulatory compliance domain.
