The AWS Security Assurance Services team, a part of the company, is seeking a talented Security Assurance Solutions Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice and educate our customers on how our product-led, people-powered services operate their business securely on AWS, while also demonstrating assurance that compliance objectives can be achieved. This role involves addressing challenges related to migrating systems and workloads to the cloud, focusing on reliable delivery of bar-raising security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation on behalf of customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in teams that include the company employees, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
- Work with a team to define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for customers, assisting them in moving sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
- Engage in resolving security assurance questions and manage risk while achieving compliance in the AWS Cloud through discussions, strategic presentations, and hands-on demonstrations of automating compliance.
- Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to provide partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in compliance, risk management, and security assurance in cloud environments.
- Ability to handle a wide range of compliance requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex security and compliance topics at all organizational levels.
- Customer-facing experience with a focus on enabling customers to move their workloads and regulated data to the cloud.
