As a Security Assurance Solutions Architect, you will assist in expanding the Security Assurance practice, helping customers understand how to operate their business securely on the company while meeting compliance objectives. This customer-facing role emphasizes enabling customers to migrate their workloads and regulated data to the cloud by addressing specific risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams, including team members, partners, and customers, to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
- Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers expedite the migration of sensitive workloads to the cloud.
- Engage with customers to resolve security assurance questions and manage risk within the company's Cloud through discussions, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Provide feedback to company's technology roadmaps based on customer and partner insights.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in risk management and internal audit, including risk assessments and controls management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in IT security, compliance, and risk management.
- 2+ years of experience advising customers on architectures that meet industry standards and regulations, such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CISA, or equivalent risk/audit credentials.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications.
- Experience in performing security assessments and audits of various IT environments.
