Security Awareness Trainer

About the Role
Design and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness programs, campaigns, workshops, and training sessions tailored to different user groups. Develop security awareness materials, including presentations, videos, quizzes, newsletters, and other educational content focused on cybersecurity best practices. Plan and execute phishing awareness simulations, analyze campaign results, and recommend improvements to strengthen user security behavior. Align security awareness initiatives with relevant compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Track awareness performance, prepare metrics and management reports, and collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to promote a strong security-first culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity awareness, security training, information security, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing and delivering security awareness programs, campaigns, workshops, and user-focused cybersecurity training.
• Strong ability to create training materials such as presentations, videos, quizzes, newsletters, and awareness communications.
• Experience planning and managing phishing simulation campaigns and analyzing results to improve employee awareness and behavior.
• Good understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, including awareness-related reporting requirements.
• CompTIA Security+, SSAP, or an equivalent industry-recognized cybersecurity certification is preferred.
