The company is seeking a talented and experienced Security Engineer – DDOS & NGFW. This role involves creating procedures, implementing process development, and maintaining security systems across internal and client environments. The Security Engineer will collaborate closely with Management, Senior Engineers, Threat Analysts, Solution Architects, and clients to deliver significant and critical services to existing Managed Security Service clients.

Responsibilities:
- Act as L1 for DDOS & Firewall technologies for the company customers.
- Monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot IP Networks and interconnected Network Security technologies.
- Provide timely responses to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
- Manage incident handling and escalate to Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams as needed.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders for quick resolution and updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Complex IP Networks and Network Security technologies.
- Experience with data center traffic flow and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- At least 3+ years of demonstrable industry experience, preferably in Network Operations/Security Operations.
- Familiarity with ITIL change management, problem management, and incident management processes.
- Understanding of common services (web, mail, FTP, DNS, etc.), network vulnerabilities, and attack patterns.
- Experience with security controls like Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antimalware, Two-Factor Authentication, Sandboxing, and Virtual Private Networks.
- Self-motivated with excellent customer-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
