Key Responsibilities:

Elastic EDR Administration & Engineering:
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Elastic EDR infrastructure and endpoint security agents.
- Manage Elastic Agent lifecycle activities, including deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and policy management.
- Develop and maintain EDR baselines, security policies, and endpoint hardening standards.

Detection Engineering:
- Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and security use cases within Elastic Security.
- Enhance threat detection capabilities and implement advanced threat detection logic.

Threat Hunting & Incident Response:
- Conduct proactive threat hunting activities and investigate endpoint security incidents.
- Support digital forensics and incident response investigations.

Security Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor EDR platform performance and perform continuous tuning of endpoint security controls.

Integration & Automation:
- Integrate Elastic EDR with various security platforms and automate security operations.

Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure EDR deployment aligns with security standards and support audit activities.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in security engineering, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Hands-on expertise with Elastic Security, Elastic Agent, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Certifications: Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Security Analyst.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required.
