We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and continuously improving the organisation's Corelight Network Detection & Response (NDR) and Cloudflare platforms. This role focuses on enhancing network visibility, threat detection, Zero Trust security, DDoS protection, WAF, web application security, DNS security, and incident response capabilities across both enterprise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Corelight NDR Administration & Engineering: Design, deploy, manage, and maintain Corelight sensors; develop and optimise network detection use cases; ensure traffic visibility and anomaly detection; integrate with SIEM and SOC platforms.

Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting: Develop and tune custom detections; conduct proactive threat hunting; implement detection coverage aligned with MITRE ATT&CK.

Cloudflare Security Administration: Design and manage web application security services; manage DNS security; deliver Zero Trust security; manage DDoS protection and network services.

Incident Response & Investigations: Investigate network attacks; support malware investigations; lead triage during security incidents.

Security Monitoring: Enhance detection coverage; develop security KPIs and metrics.

Integration & Automation: Integrate Corelight and Cloudflare with various platforms; develop automation scripts.

Governance, Compliance & Security Standards: Ensure solutions align with regulatory frameworks and support audits.
What We’re Looking For:

Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or IT Engineering
- 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience managing network security technologies
- Hands-on experience with Corelight NDR or Zeek-based solutions
- Hands-on experience with Cloudflare security services
- Strong network security fundamentals

- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Relevant certifications, such as Security+ or equivalent in network security
Language Requirements: English proficiency is expected.
