Responsibilities:

  • Act as L1 engineer for Palo Alto & Fortinet firewalls, F5-LTM, AWAF, APM, and GTM for the company customers.
  • Monitor and maintain security infrastructure, including NGFW and F5 solutions.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, routing, switching, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
  • Monitor, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot IP networks and interconnected network security technologies.
  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
  • Take responsibility for handling incidents and escalate to SME teams as needed.
  • Notify customers and stakeholders to provide faster resolutions and updates.
  • Work in a 24/7 support team environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrable industry experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security with Palo Alto & Fortinet firewalls, routing & switching, and F5 solutions.
  • Understanding of IPSec & SSL VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Expertise in complex IP networks with the ability to perform under pressure in customer-facing environments.
  • Experience in network operations/security operations.
  • Understanding of ITIL change management, problem management, and incident management.
  • Experience working within strict SLAs.
  • Self-motivated with a professional attitude and excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Strong communication, listening, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle technical conflicts and organizational challenges effectively.
