Security Engineer

About the Role
The position involves a focus on enterprise networking and security, requiring hands-on experience with various networking technologies and a commitment to high availability and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, along with implementing and supporting F5 security solutions and load balancing architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Networking: Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; apply routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS).
• F5 Security Solutions: Design, deploy, and support F5 TMOS, CLI, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM modules, and route domains.
• Load Balancing: Architect and implement load balancing solutions using F5 or Kemp technologies.
• Certificate Management: Manage PKI certificates, including installation, CRL, OCSP, and CA trust bundles.
• High Availability: Ensure resilience in 24x7, high-transaction environments with enterprise gateway architectures.
• Documentation & Planning: Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, security, and business teams to align network security with organizational objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of related experience in networking and security.
• At least 5+ years of Cisco enterprise networking experience.

Certifications

• F5-CA, F5-CTS (LTM, GTM, APM) preferred.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) desirable.
