Security Operations Center Analyst

The company is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented SOC Level 1 Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team and provide continuous 24x7 monitoring and incident response support.

As a SOC Level 1 Analyst, you will be the first line of defence against cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts, analysing suspicious activity, triaging incidents, and escalating security events to senior analysts when necessary. This role is suited for candidates with experience using SIEM platforms and a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and security operations processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM platforms on a 24x7 basis.
• Perform initial triage, investigation, and categorisation of security incidents.
• Escalate confirmed or high-risk incidents to SOC L2/L3 teams.
• Analyse logs from multiple security technologies and infrastructure components.
• Investigate phishing emails, malware alerts, endpoint detections, and network security incidents.
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and follow established playbooks.
• Support security incident response activities and post-incident reporting.
• Monitor security dashboards to identify and respond to emerging threats.
• Ensure SLA compliance and timely response to alerts and incidents.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence within the SOC.
