Security Operations Center Manager

As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager at Deriv, you will be based in our bustling office in Dubai’s Business Bay. This dynamic city offers an exciting environment for both work and leisure. In this role, you will lead our SOC activities and collaborate with a diverse, talented team to ensure the security and integrity of Deriv’s digital assets globally.

Responsibilities:

• Shape a comprehensive SOC strategy to identify, prevent, detect, and respond to complex cyber threats.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a talented team of SOC engineers and security analysts.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Design and improve security incident management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• 13+ years of work experience, with over 5 years in SOC management.
• Proven track record in leading and managing Security Operations Centers.
• Strong understanding of SOC workflows, including incident detection and response.
• Expertise in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, DataDog, or QRadar).
• Calm under pressure with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are highly desirable.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with trends and technologies.
