About the Job:
The Security Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day physical security operations across the company branches, HQ, and back-office locations. This role ensures continuous security coverage, effective alarm and access control administration, deployment of security guards, incident response, and compliance with bank policies, RCSA controls, business continuity requirements, and UAE regulatory authorities.
The position supports operational readiness through vendor coordination, police approvals, preventive maintenance oversight, management information systems (MIS) reporting, KPI/KRI tracking, and timely escalation of security risks and incidents to management. The role ensures that operations remain compliant with bank policies, UAE regulatory requirements, and law enforcement standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Operations Coordination:
    • Coordinate day-to-day security operations across branches, back offices, and HQ.
    • Assist with security support during off hours, Fridays, and holidays.
    • Perform daily security operational checks and execute tasks assigned by the Head of Security.
    • Provide daily updates to the Head of Monitoring and Head of Security.
  • Alarm System Administration:
    • Manage branch alarm connection renewals and document requirements.
    • Process police/CID approvals for alarm operations and system upgrades.
  • Access Control & Security Systems Maintenance:
    • Ensure all security systems are operational and complete preventive maintenance quarterly.
    • Process approvals for security system maintenance schedules.
  • Vendor & Guard Force Coordination:
    • Coordinate deployment of security guards as per bank requirements.
    • Monitor guard performance and compliance with bank policies.
  • Incident & Emergency Management:
    • Coordinate response and report incidents at the company branches.
    • Maintain records of security incidents.
  • Compliance, Risk & Governance Support:
    • Ensure compliance with RCSA requirements and regulatory documentation.
  • Documentation, MIS & Reporting:
    • Compile monthly Security MIS reports and maintain operational records.
  • Operational Improvement & Cost Optimization:
    • Support cost-saving initiatives within the security department.
    • Conduct site inspections and coordinate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar Security Operations role.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of physical security operations and familiarity with security environments.
  • Core Competencies: Strong coordination, effective incident handling, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
  • Behavioral Competencies: High integrity, proactive awareness of risks, and a strong sense of ownership.
