Security Resident Engineer

As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L2), you will provide a managed service to clients, ensuring that their security infrastructures and systems remain operational. Your main responsibilities include:

• Proactively monitoring and responding to technical incidents and requests.
• Safeguarding the organization’s computer networks and systems.
• Designing and implementing secure networking solutions to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Configuring network security systems, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conducting regular system tests and maintaining continuous monitoring of network security.
• Developing organization-wide best practices for IT security.
• Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues regarding network security.

Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE.
• Proven work experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Familiarity with web-related technologies and network/web-related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies and monitoring tools.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• CCIE Security.
• Experience with cloud services and security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
