Security Specialist – Infrastructure Management (L2/L3 Cybersecurity Engineer)

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist – Infrastructure Management (L2/L3) to manage, administer, and support enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing security platforms while ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational excellence across the organization's security ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and support enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure and security platforms.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex security infrastructure issues.
• Manage the lifecycle of security solutions, including deployment, configuration, upgrades, patching, hardening, and decommissioning.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of security infrastructure.
• Implement security baselines, system hardening, and configuration management in accordance with industry best practices.
• Manage security incidents, change requests, maintenance activities, and problem management following ITIL processes.
• Support Identity & Access Management (IAM), network security, endpoint security, SIEM/XDR, vulnerability management, and other enterprise security technologies.
• Collaborate with SOC, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to resolve security-related operational issues.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability while implementing proactive improvements.
• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7–12+ years of experience in cybersecurity infrastructure, security engineering, or security operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
  • Network Security (Firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, Web Security)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM)
  • SIEM/XDR Platforms
  • Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Cloud Security
• Experience in system administration, security platform lifecycle management, and infrastructure hardening.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture, security baselines, and secure configuration standards.
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud platforms, and enterprise networking.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and ITIL.

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
• CHFI – Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Splunk, or other relevant security certifications are an advantage.
