As a key member of the security team, you will oversee the effective implementation of hotel security procedures and support the overall mission of providing a safe environment while embodying the values of warmth and service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The company employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Oversee the effective implementation of hotel security procedures and ensure a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors.
- Support the Security Manager in managing contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with local security authorities.
- Supervise and guide Security Officers, ensuring professional service, proper deployment, daily briefings, and adequate equipment.
- Monitor car-park security, master keys, and overall access control.
- Review VIP arrivals and daily operations to ensure appropriate security coverage.
- Handle and investigate security incidents and emergencies professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate the Security Fire Fighting Team during emergencies.
- Conduct regular security training and identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
- Keep senior management informed of relevant security matters.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel security, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and incident-management skills.
- Good knowledge of local security procedures and authorities.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach.
