About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all areas of the property. Key duties include patrolling premises, assisting guests with room access, conducting emergency response drills, and performing safety inspections. You will also monitor security systems, document access to secured areas, assist during emergencies, and manage disturbance situations in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property to ensure security.
- Secure rooms and assist guests with access issues.
- Conduct emergency response drills and daily safety inspections.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems.
- Authorize and document access to secured areas.
- Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as necessary.
- Gather information and complete incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.
- Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazards.
- Escort unwelcome individuals from the premises and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
- Assist management with training, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Uphold the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Maintain professionalism in personal appearance and uniform, report safety concerns and accidents.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, addressing service needs with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Develop positive working relationships with team members to achieve common goals.
- Perform various physical tasks including moving, lifting, and manipulating objects weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Complete other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience is desired.
- License or Certification: None required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Capability to move swiftly in response to situations (running, walking).
- Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers or point of sale systems.
- Must be able to visually inspect tools and equipment and verify information in various formats.
- Ability to move through confined spaces and over uneven surfaces up and down stairs/ramps.
- Requires fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
