Security Track Specialist

About the Role
The role involves implementing a comprehensive solution that requires consistent monitoring, management, and performance checks of the AV console, as well as ensuring the integrity and currency of virus definitions. This position emphasizes user support, regular system performance evaluations, and proactive incident response to maintain optimal system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor the AV console for status, performance, issues, and activity.
• Ensure virus definitions are regularly updated to maintain currency.
• Initiate and analyze results of weekly full system scans.
• Conduct regular system performance checks and reviews.
• Execute regular backups of configuration files.
• Provide user support and maintain communication regarding AV issues.
• Perform regular log reviews to identify potential threats or issues.
• Update AV policies routinely to adapt to new challenges and requirements.
• Manage platform maintenance and application upgrades.
• Integrate AV logs with the CDC SOC where applicable and take remediation actions as advised by the CDC.
