Security Track Specialist

About the Role
The role involves the implementation and management of a comprehensive antivirus (AV) solution designed to ensure optimal system performance and security. This position includes regular monitoring, management, and analysis of system activity to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor the AV console for status, performance, issues, and activity.
• Maintain updated virus definitions to ensure ongoing currency.
• Generate and analyze scan reports.
• Execute incident response protocols.
• Conduct regular system performance checks.
• Perform regular backups of configuration files.
• Provide user support as required.
• Initiate and analyze results from weekly full system scans.
• Conduct regular log reviews.
• Regularly review and update AV policies.
• Manage platform maintenance and application upgrades.
• Integrate AV logs with the CDC SOC and take remediation actions as recommended by the CDC.
