Security/Access Control Manager

The company is seeking a Security/Access Control Manager to oversee and manage the design and implementation of security and access control systems for a new international airport terminal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising the work of designers and contractors, ensuring the integration and compliance of terminal security systems, and collaborating with various teams throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

The company has a longstanding involvement in complex airport projects, and this role specifically contributes to the King Salman International Airport, which is expected to handle up to 120 million travelers by 2030.

Job Summary:

• Supervise and manage design work related to Security and Access Control systems.
• Review technical submissions and provide support during procurement activities.
• Monitor progress and performance.
• Coordinate with various teams for timely acquisition of permits and approvals.
• Support the construction and quality management teams in executing the project related to the security systems.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of terminal buildings Security and Access Control systems design.
• Conduct audits and prepare compliance reports.
• Liaise with customer representatives as the subject matter expert.
• Support vendor testing and the commissioning team to ensure project requirements are met.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Security and Access Control systems and relevant design codes.
• Familiarity with national and international regulatory codes relating to airport design.
• Working knowledge of computer-aided drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, particularly in Revit and Navisworks.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages may be beneficial.
