Senior Account Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Senior Account Cloud Engineer to drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This role will involve collaboration with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions. You will conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements, architect comprehensive cloud solutions that align with industry best practices, and present Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
• Staying updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
• Providing technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
• Analyzing industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to offer strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
• Designing and delivering enterprise cloud architecture that articulates business value through vision and technical architecture.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• 6 years of experience in technology, including significant work with public cloud platforms.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to business and technical challenges.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
• Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
• Experience with open source, cloud-native, and Oracle technologies.
• Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
