You will work closely with Sales and Account Teams to drive revenue growth through Cloud subscriptions, educating customers and partners on product offerings and cloud strategies. Your contributions will include conducting workshops, providing assessments of current architectures, and recommending future solutions, all while demonstrating the value of Oracle's Cloud Technology Solutions, particularly IaaS and database services. Hands-on experience with Linux and/or KVM is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively design and implement solutions during customer engagements.
- Translate business needs into technological solutions by gathering requirements and developing architectures.
- Ensure successful deployment of solutions through coding and scripting.
- Offer support from Proof of Concept (POC) to production deployment.
- Create technical assets such as white papers and solution codes.
- Act as a technical liaison for customers and sales on cloud solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with expertise in Cloud architecture (IaaS & PaaS).
- Strong understanding of on-premises solutions; DBA background is a plus.
- Experience planning and delivering cloud migration projects.
- Knowledgeable in networking design and implementation.
- Familiarity with Oracle's tech stack and competitor offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills, proficient in presenting to C-level executives.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- Willing to travel as needed.
