Scope of Responsibilities:
- Educate customers and partners about Oracle's product offerings and cloud strategies.
- Conduct cloud workshops on strategy, architecture, and planning.
- Assess current state architecture and recommend future state architecture.
- Demonstrate the value of Oracle's Cloud Technology Solutions, especially regarding infrastructure and database (IaaS and PaaS).
- Maintain awareness of competitive products, particularly in hyper-converged systems and virtualization platforms.
- Contribute technical responses for Invitations to Tender (ITT), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect with a strong understanding of Cloud Architecture (IaaS & PaaS).
- Experience in planning and delivering cloud migration projects from traditional on-premise models.
- Knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Oracle's technology stack and familiarity with cloud competitors such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Cloud certification (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including significant C-level presentation experience.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
