Your responsibilities will include owning and operating GPU and accelerator clusters, designing infrastructure for local model execution, improving systems for scheduling, orchestration, and utilization across heterogeneous environments, and optimizing inference pipelines for various metrics such as latency and cost. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with AI/ML researchers and product teams, ensuring the company's AI ambitions are materialized through dependable and efficient infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage GPU and accelerator clusters for various AI workloads.
- Design infrastructure to execute models locally on GPUs.
- Develop scheduling and orchestration systems for resource optimization.
- Optimize inference pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to streamline workflows.
- Monitor and drive system reliability and performance metrics.
- Evaluate and integrate new hardware and cloud solutions.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, especially in GPU compute and ML infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with GPU clusters and production environments.
- Strong systems engineering fundamentals (Linux, networking, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Python for automation and operational workflows.
- Experience with ML serving frameworks such as Triton or TensorRT.
- Ability to convey complex infrastructure trade-offs clearly to various stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in high-frequency trading, research platforms, or AI labs.
- Familiarity with specialized accelerators and custom silicon.
- Experience with distributed training frameworks and debugging performance issues.
Language Requirements:
Candidates should be comfortable in an environment where over 50 languages are spoken, reflecting the global nature of the company's team.
